Whitmer advances

The Whitmer Panthers defeated the Perrysburg Yellow Jackets for the second time in 3 weeks 17-3 to advance in the division 1 playoffs. Whitmer forced 3 turnovers and used a stout defense to stifle Perrysburg’s passing attack. Panther running back Jamon Holmes scored twice in the second half as Whitmer sealed the game. Next up for Whitmer is top seeded Lakewood St. Edwards.
